Addin puts 10 custom buttons to the "Tools" menu.

Probably, in German version, there is not a menu named "Tools".

Can you manually add e menu "Tools" and restart SSMS. If do not work, reinstall the addin.

Please give information about the result ...

I couldn'T find how to add a menu in SSMS 2008R2 but I did in 2012RC0.

Now, there ius no error message thrown but there are no buttons in my new "Tools" menu.

BTW in the German version "Tools" is called "Extras".

Hi Chris,

the "Tools" menu must be in the "MenuBar" toolbar.

In English version of SSMS, the main menus toolbar name is "MenuBar". The code looks for the "Tools" menu in the "MenuBar" toolbar.

Can you add a new toolbar named "MenuBar" and take the "Tools" menu in this toolbar and restart SSMS.

Last, Can you look the Windows Event Log For "ConnectionButtons" errors.

OK, I added the "MenuBar" toolbar and installed again.

Her created two Menupoint "Reset Connection" and "Connection Button Config".

I can configure a button but the button is not shown afterwards.

I get the error message documented here in the Home-Register.

So I copied he config file but the error message is still there.
